About the event

This is a special Charity Tournament with all tournament dollars being donated to Project Pinball Charity.  This is a Critical Hit format tournament, which is a modified match play tournament of 4 player groups. Every player will start with special "Critical Hit" cards that allow you to alter the games and tournament itself by doing things like adding/removing games, swapping scores with a player, or adding tilt warnings to their game. Players will have the opportunity to earn more cards throughout the tournament. The winner of the game will receive 7 points, second place will receive 5 points, third place will receive 3 points, and fourth place will receive 1 point. At the end of 5 rounds, the players with the highest point totals will more into a multi-match play finals. We will keep drawing rounds until 9:15pm and play as many rounds as we can before that time. Depending on how many people attend the event will determine how many people we place in finals.

It will be a $20 admission to Next Level for tournament players + $5 buy-in to the tournament. $1 from the tourney buy-in goes to the IFPA for the sanctioning of events and the rest will be donated to Project Pinball Charity.  Next Level also contributes $2 from each admission into the Next Level Championship prize fund.  The tournaments start at 7pm, so please check in at the front desk no later than 6:50pm.

Tournaments are open to people of all ages and skill levels. We have some of the best players in the country here in Oregon, as well as many new people getting into the hobby all the time! It's a great way to improve your skills as well as just meet friendly and fun people in the community!

*Please note that the tournament is subject to slight modifications depending on attendance and machine availability. We may modify a tournament to have different group sizes or edit # of rounds to ensure decent tournament lengths.*
