About the event
Flip Frenzies are 2.5 hours of playing as much pinball as possible! You will be placed in head to head matches with other opponents and the idea is to play as many machines within the allotted time. After you play a game, player 1 will become player 2 on a new machine, player 2 will go to the back of the queue, and the person at the front of the queue joins the newly created machine. This is a special SPLIT FLIPPER version of the tournament, meaning you'll play with a partner with one person controlling the left flipper and one person controlling the right flipper. The tournament starts at 7pm, so you must check in at the front desk no later than 6:50pm so we can do pre tournament announcements and start on time.
It will be the regular $20 admission to Next Level + $5 buy-in to the tournament per person ($10 per team). Next Level contributes $2 from each admission into the Next Level Championship prize fund for a big end-or-year tournament. Tournaments are open to people of all ages and skill levels. We have some of the best players in the country here in Oregon, as well as many new people getting into the hobby all the time! It's a great way to improve your skills as well as just meet friendly and fun people in the community! Standardly, there are about 30 people per event.
*Please note that these formats are subject to slight modifications depending on attendance and machine availability. We may modify a tournament to have more/less time, alter group sizes, or edit # of rounds to ensure decent tournament lengths
